Data Controller and Data Protection Officer
In this privacy statement, C2D System House, hereinafter referred to as "C2D" or "we", explains how it handles your personal data as the "data controller". This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data of customers, potential customers (prospects), and individuals who engage with C2D in any other capacity as a buyer or supplier. C2D has two establishment units (C2D System House and C2D System House Luxembourg) and can be contacted at the details mentioned in point 7.4.
All information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person is personal data. This includes information that can reasonably be linked to an individual.

The Personal Data We Process as Data Controller
C2D may collect your personal data in several ways. We process the personal data you provide to us when you participate in an action or use our services and communicate data to us directly or indirectly, or allow us to record data about your interests, behavior, and preferences (cookies).
If you make a request to C2D, for example via the website, we need the following personal information: Name, address, postal code; Email address and other contact details; Possibly other information relevant to your request, such as your activity or other additional options.
If you enter into a contract with C2D, depending on the type of contract, product, or service, we need the following personal information: Name, address, postal code; Contact details (phone number and email address); Business number; Financial data (bank account).
If you use the services offered by C2D or enter into a contract with us, we process data such as: data relating to your machine, for example a MAC address, an IP address, or another number; your communication preferences and settings; data that we link to certain profiles we create about you based on your consumer behavior (for example: how often you visit our site, make a purchase, or request a service); browsing behavior, determined based on our own observations or cookies (see also Article 6 of this privacy statement); results of customer satisfaction surveys; data concerning your use of the services we offer.
Legal Bases and Legitimate Interests
We process personal data based on the following legal grounds: Consent; Performance of a contract concluded with you or pre-contractual measures; Legal obligation; Performance of a task in the public interest; Legitimate interest of C2D or a third party.
Purposes for Which We Process Personal Data
C2D processes personal data for the following purposes: maintaining customer relationships (including maintaining a direct relationship between C2D, members of the approved network, service partners, and related financial service providers, including the performance of a contract and the pursuit of legitimate interests); processing and administering orders (including billing) to respond to your request and/or prepare or execute a contract; providing customer service, fulfilling warranty obligations and those of the approved network members or service partners, processing complaints and requests, responding to your inquiries and executing contracts, or for legitimate interests; proactively contacting customers in case of material defects or malfunctions or to schedule service appointments, executing a contract or for legitimate interests; carrying out or coordinating any recall actions, due to legitimate interests or legal obligations; conducting market research to improve our operations, brands, services, and products, and identifying customer wishes, due to legitimate interests; sending informational and commercial messages by email, postal mail, or other communication channels. For direct marketing, you always have the option to unsubscribe by objecting to the processing or withdrawing your consent if you have given it; advertising and marketing, including targeted advertising ("interest-based ads", for example via social networks and search engines) to connect devices and analyze the impact of advertising and marketing activities due to our legitimate interests; complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our rights; improving data quality through address, postal code, and country verification, due to our legitimate interests; linking and analyzing cookies from our websites to customer data we know. We do this to tailor the content of our communication as much as possible to your personal preferences, for the pursuit of our legitimate interests.
Third Parties Involved in Processing
In some cases, C2D shares personal data with third parties who are independent "data controllers". We explain below when this is the case and why. C2D may share data with: service partners in C2D's distribution network, for the performance of a contract or for the pursuit of legitimate interests; third parties to whom we are legally obliged or authorized to provide data; third parties, if we suspect a violation of third-party rights, criminal offenses, or abuses, if they have a legitimate interest or if they are public authorities. These may also be authorities such as the police, the public prosecutor's office; parties that assist C2D in its services and are not subcontractors of personal data and this for the pursuit of its legitimate interests; parties that assist C2D in the development of (direct) marketing activities as part of the pursuit of its legitimate interests.
Marketing, Profiling, and Cookies
Furthermore, we and third parties automatically collect certain information about the history of your activities on our website and on third-party applications using automated means, such as cookies, in accordance with the preferences you have provided. Via certain cookies and similar technologies, unique cookie IDs or other identifiers are assigned or collected. In this way, data can be collected while you use the website or applications or when they run in the background on your machine. We may combine them with other information about you or related to your machine, such as an IP address. If we need permission for this, we will ask you before proceeding with this processing.
Your Rights, Including Your Right to Object
You have the right to know what personal data we have recorded about you and to whom we have disclosed your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to ask us, in accordance with applicable legislation, to correct, update, delete your personal data, limit the processing of your personal data, or provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format to transmit to another company.
Security
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against any unauthorized or unlawful processing. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or if you have evidence of improper or irregular use of your personal data, please contact our customer service.
Retention Period
We only retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which they were obtained, unless we are legally required to retain the personal data for a longer period or if this seems necessary for the management of a possible dispute.
Modification
We reserve the right to unilaterally modify or supplement this privacy statement. We will inform you as much as possible of any changes. We advise you to consult our privacy statement periodically.
